Gospel Amnesia
On this edition of theMangoTimes podcast, I share a recording from several years ago. In 2011, Kendra and I had the chance to share our testimony at the Easter morning service at our church (Redeemer Church, Modesto). I spoke about our journey from a rigid legalistic behavior-based practice of our faith to the freedom that Jesus brings in the gospel. What we told people was that we woke up from a bad case of gospel amnesia!

Quietly making noise,
Fletch
In this episode, Fletch interviews longtime friend and ultimate “shower-upper” Lisa Kjeldgaard. Based on the Fletchifesto idea that 80% of life is just showing up, this conversation dives into the power of presence and why it matters. Lisa reflects on her background, her education, and how those experiences shaped her values. Together, they explore what it means to show up for others, the personal cost and reward, and why it’s often the first step toward any meaningful life. Plus: a rapid-fire round of fun questions.
